So, this week I was searching our graveyard for hidden graves I haven't seen before. Here is one of my favourites that I found, because it kind of looks like the underworld is reaching up to reclaim it ;-)
I just wanted to share some pictures I took of our graveyard in the snow last month (February)
It was a beautiful sunny day in England today and I decided to spend some time doing some outside research. So I went to hang out with my favourite king. The once and future king: Arthur.
Only, I don't think he's there anymore. So where is he? These signs were spectacularly uninformative and no one seemed to know! Am feeling unaccountably depressed by this. Where are Arthur and Guinevere now?
I blame Cromwell and I blame the Government. It's just not cool... Where are the bones of our most illustrious king? If you know, tell me!
On the other hand, Glastonbury looked beautiful today. The Tor made for a stunning back drop and I loved that the tomb stood between these pillars, which were in every way reminiscent to me of the Gateway of the Kings from Lord of the Rings, so I enjoyed that. It's definitely worth a visit, even without Arthur.
You know what I love about England? That you can be driving along a pretty country lane and you see a stone circle sitting in a field, with no fuss, no ceremony, just there in a random field. So I stopped the car to have a quick look. There was a small sign up on one of the stones and it simply said "Stone Circle, Circa 3000 BC". That means it was put there 5000 YEARS AGO! And no one is making the remotest big deal about it. It's just a part of our landscape. Anyway, it was very peaceful so I thought I'd share it
Hello lovely readers,
As some of you know, I also write young adult romance under the name Stella Wilkinson.
I decided that my series: The Magical Misadventures of Emily Rand, would actually fit better under this name, because even though it is still YA it is also Paranormal Romance, and the future for me is very much here in fantasy land, lol.
Other than the author name, nothing else has changed and you can still keep reading through them as before. Thanks for understanding and I hope you enjoy them x
27 July (tomorrow as I type this) is going to have a spectacular lunar event. There is going to be a total lunar eclipse and it will be the longest in a century. So the longest one any of us will see in our lifetime.
It's also going to create a dramatic 'blood moon' (the moon will appear to be red as it goes in and out of the eclipse) and not only that but it's the best day of the year to view planet Mars as will be directly in line with the Earth and the sun.
I'm in the UK, so I should be able to see a total eclipse shortly after 9pm. Alas, some countries won't get to see it, but many will. You can check HERE.
Let me know if you get any good photos!
